Retro Fuel Tank Cover for BMW RnineT
Shape of the fuel tanks shown on BMW R Series in 70’s would give a solid classic look if applied to the BMW RnineT which represents Motorrad’s naked bike.

Formarea put a lot of thought into how the current generation RnineT could retain the impression of the 70's style classic fuel tank look without removing the current version of the tank. 

Therefore, we thought about whether it would be possible to create something retro while maintaining a genuine fuel tank without removal, and as a result, we made a two-piece fuel tank cover.

It is designed to maintain the convenience of a genuine tank, protect it from external scratches, and capture its classic feel.
In addition, we introduce a 'leather package' in which leather knee grip pads and tank belts were hand crafted using high qulity leathers.

The retro tank cover for the BMW R nineT is launched under the name 'Deckel R', following the company's S1000RR tank cover Deckel S.
There are two versions of Deckel R.

Classic type: The lower line of the tank cover maintains a horizontal element which aims to maintain a more classic feel. 
                         (requires removal of intake cover and intake tube)

Normal type: The the lower horizontal line of the tank cover must be adjusted, in order for keeping the genuine intake alive.
