Qualification of real SUV



As one of the Formarea crews, I am in charge of administration and overall operation in Formarea.

It is attractive to introduce the automobile culture well developed in Western Europe, North America or Japan such as passion for classic cars, racing history and making own unique cars.
That is the job for formarea, I'm happy to be part of crew. 
‌Originally, I wasn't a big fan or interested in cars, but I'm becoming a petrol head after being a crew member.

After graduating from high school, I started driving a car with parent's vehicle.
While studying at college in the U.S., I used to drove a Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla to go to class and after came back to home country, I've experienced to drive a Jeep Wrangler (JK), BMW M3 (E92), Jeep Cherokee (XJ) and Porsche 911 Turbo (996).

Now I drive a Mini Cooper S Clubman and a Land Rover Discovery 4. Personally, I think it would be ideal to own a family SUV and a fun car which you can enjoy speed occasionally.

When I rode the Jeep Wrangler, I felt the charm of off-road ride,
since then, I'm having a kind of prejudice that SUV should be able to go all-terrain, so I prefer that's 4X4 off-roadable SUV rather than city-type SUVs.

‌I bought a Jeep Cherokee XJ as a used car after the Jeep Wrangler, and the american classic sensibility was so attractive and satisfying.
‌It was well maintained and sold at a good price.

My little adorable daughter was born, so I had to sell my precious Porsche 911 turbo. Because I needed a large size SUV for family.

Dino, another crew form Formarea, he suggested me a Land Rover Discovery 4.We were straight to the dealer, white color - almond leather interior was catch my eye, I liked the Land Rover Discovery 4.

As the Land Rover brand is a maker of only produce SUVs, there was no doubt about its off-road performance.

I really like the smooth running of the air suspension and I like the angular shape of the vehicle.

Normally, my wife used this car to commute to work, so I didn't have a chance to experience off-road driving.
I recently had a business trip, so I experienced off-road driving properly, had little different feel from Wrangler. 

When choosing a family SUV, the condition was that, there should be a third row seat and there should be no discomfort even when riding in the third row seat, but the Land Rover Discovery 4 satisfied this parts.

Good news is in Korea, the low mileage and well-maintained used car prices of the Discovery 4 are not falling well.
especially, Discovery 4 which has combination of white body color & almond leather interior is more valuable than other variations.

"I will try to manage it well and sell it at a good condition in future, because I have my eyes on anther REAL SUV which is coming soon".
